Whew! Can you believe it? I did it - a photo a day for a year. Some days seemed to inch by, slower than molasses, but as I sit here reminiscing, it seems like the year flew by. It seems like just yesterday that I sitting here, preparing for this project. I've learned a few things as a result of doing this:
(a) I've enjoyed always being on the look-out for memorable moments, unexpected beauty, interesting tidbits, and everyday happenings,
(b) chronicling my life has shown me just how boring it really is, and
(c) juggling two blogs is a pain.
I've decided to continue this, but not on this blog. Thus, the sunsetting of Project 365 +1, 2008. The photos will be incorporated into my regular blog:

day 364
Started switching out the seasons (since my closet is tiny)... seems I have a penchant for cable-knit sweaters.

day 363
Connor, in his usual position. He has been complaining of pain in his back and legs.... Inasmuch as his Christmas vacation (thus far) has consisted of movie watching, video game playing, and internet surfing/YouTube watching, it is safe to assume that the pain can be attributed to long hours of inactivity rather than muscle overuse.

day 362
The significance of this picture? This is me and The Filth (as we lovingly call her), enjoying the PEACE and QUIET of my home, sans the kids and their cousins. The mayhem was unbelievable! Kevin took them back at the appointed time, but had to stick around since the adults were, oh.... only about 5 hours late in coming home.

day 362
Kevin agreed to babysit his ex-wife's sister's four kids (yes, he is CRAZY) while they all went up to L.A. for the night. We had to get all the kids out of the house , so we hit the park. Connor wasn't excited to go, but we made him.
I didn't get any pictures of the little ones (not really interested, to be quite honest), but I took a few more of Connor and of Kate and her favorite cousin, Caitlin. See HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE.

day 350
Met some old work friends for lunch at a chinese restaurant in Brea... this was the restaurant's take on Christmas ornaments: plastic forks and take-out containers. Hmmmm....

Our breadsticks came EXTRA buttery tonight... almost made Kevin sick. He tried to force us to a different table.

This house, on the other end of our street, makes up for all the [outward] Christmas spirit that we lack this year.

A good friend went through the temple for the first time, so a bunch of us went to support. It was a wonderful evening!

I saw these at the grocery store and had to have them... they reminded me of Jr. High School. I used to get them at the little window at lunch time. Ahhhhh... good times.

day 340
My bro-in-law Bryan recently found out that he passed the Bar exam (yay!) and had to So Cal return for the swearing-in ceremony. He brought Gavin with him. I went down to my parent's house at lunchtime today to see the little guy... we called Cindy when he awoke from his nap.
