day 213

The Cheesecake Factory Part II. I love leftovers, especially coconut cheesecake with chunks of chocolate, topped with layers of coconut custard and whipped cream all on top of a chocolate macaroon crust.

day 212

Yesterday was Dyana's birthday. Go here and here for more.

Tuesday, July 29, 2008

day 211

Grand Ave., Diamond Bar. Down the street from where we work. Turn right here, go over the hill, and you're in Chino Hills. You may have heard about Chino Hills in the news today... a little tidbit about it being the epicenter of today's earthquake? Needless to say, our building was rocking! Kinda scary. This is us leaving work early (they closed the office).

Monday, July 28, 2008

day 210

This endeavor proved successful... 16 camp DVDs burned and ready to go, though more time consuming than originally predicted. But I've got it down now - next time around I'll be able to bust one out much faster.

Sunday, July 27, 2008

day 209

Family get-together at Grammy & Poppy Taylor's... Kevin's little niece, Rachel (almost 2) is growing so fast! Today she was talking up a storm and being so cuddly. Love it!

Saturday, July 26, 2008

day 208

Kate and her mom found these little mice at the beach a few days ago, presumably abandoned by their rodent mother. Of course, they picked them up and brought them home... nicely tucked in a plastic doughnut container (Albertson's, chocolate). When Kevin picked up Kate and Connor, along came the doughnut container and baby mice. Ewww! Their eyes are not yet open and Kate's feeding them goat's milk though a little, tiny bottle. Why, why, why???

Friday, July 25, 2008

day 207

Kevin was stuck in a meeting that ran quite a bit later than our regular quittin' time. Since I'm not going to actually work past said quittin' time, I messed around with my camera phone.

Thursday, July 24, 2008

day 206

I spent A LOT of time on various freeways today. I was next to this truck for quite some time on the 55.... good thing I liked its subject matter.

Wednesday, July 23, 2008

day 205

Went to see Mamma Mia tonight with a bunch of gals (10 altogether!). Christie, who's looking extra busty in this picture, agreed to be in the shot.

Tuesday, July 22, 2008

day 204

I had been thinking about getting this little tool, but thought the cost was too much. I finally bought one today... Boy oh boy does this thing work!

Monday, July 21, 2008

day 203

Gotta have one of these right above you on a hot summer night.

Sunday, July 20, 2008

day 202

Sunrise in the skies over Georgia (layover in Atlanta).

Saturday, July 19, 2008

day 201

We stayed a night with Greg & Cathleen in Fredericksburg. I took Cindy out to the Fredericksburg Battlefield. This is part of original stone wall behind which the Confederate soldiers fired upon the Union armies, resulting in what was later remembered as one of the most one-sided battles of the Civil War.

An added bonus: Breakfast with wacky and wild Nathaniel.

Friday, July 18, 2008

day 200

FINALLY we found a place for Cindy & Co. to live (she's taking pictures to show Bryan). The search was more difficult and discouraging that we thought, but if everything goes through, they'll be renting a cute townhome in Springfield, just a bit south-west of Washington D.C.

Thursday, July 17, 2008

day 199

Old Town Alexandria. Gas lamps flickering against 200-year-old brick on the Union Street Public House.

Wednesday, July 16, 2008

day 198

Hung out a little bit at Cindy's place before she and I took off to the airport. I always love seeing this little guy.

Tuesday, July 15, 2008

day 197

Packing... again. The third time in three weeks.

Monday, July 14, 2008

day 196

Refilled Zoey's treat jar...

Sunday, July 13, 2008

day 195

I love these guys! They're off to make a new home in Colorado... at least that's closer than Virginia.

Saturday, July 12, 2008

day 194

I'm trying to make a DVD of the pictures and video clips from camp. I spent the majority of the day figuring out how to use Premiere Elements...

Friday, July 11, 2008

day 193

Since today is 7/11, 7-Eleven was giving out free Slurpees. Some of us stopped on the way home from camp.

Thursday, July 10, 2008

day 192

Bishop & Sis. Eichelberger during the Stake Devotional. Thursday night is Bishop's night... We have the greatest Bishop!

Wednesday, July 9, 2008

day 191

Had a workshop today - a ropes course that made quite an impression upon the girls. Deb Asplund tied it altogether at the end with her message about the Iron Rod and listening to the Holy Ghost.

Tuesday, July 8, 2008

day 190

Pool time!

Monday, July 7, 2008

Day 189

First day at Camp! Most of us wore flip-flops and ended up with disgustingly dirty camp feet like Riley's.

Sunday, July 6, 2008

day 188

Zoey is NOT a morning dog...

Saturday, July 5, 2008

day 187

There's nothing better on a hot day than cutting into a cold, perfect watermelon.

Friday, July 4, 2008

day 186

Surprisingly, our community pool wasn't as crowded as we anticipated. (Taken with the camera phone in an effort to take the photo without being noticed by one cranky photo-hater - or three in this instance)

Thursday, July 3, 2008

day 185

Apparently, at Connor's mom's house, every Thursday night is Pizza Night. The kids are with us this week... but you know Connor won't tolerate a change in his pizza schedule. So, we went to Pizza Factory tonight.

Wednesday, July 2, 2008

day 184

Being the fish he is, Caleb was in the water all day long. His wrinkly raisin-toes proved it. (Newport)

Tuesday, July 1, 2008

day 183

Lounging with Capt. Jack at the pool in Newport Beach.
