day 305

The Halloween Parade in SoHo. The word "parade" is used loosely. The freaks certainly do come out at night.

day 304

LAX

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

day 303

Had to attend a workers' compensation conference. The only good thing about it was the view from the hotel at which it was held.

Tuesday, October 28, 2008

day 302

The Young Men and Young Women hosted the Halloween Trick-or-Treat activity for the Primary kids. Natalie got a bit carried away with the face paint...

Monday, October 27, 2008

day 301

Sunday, October 26, 2008

day 300

Here's a little sneak peak of what will be our Christmas cards this year. Ordered some cardstock tonight...

Saturday, October 25, 2008

day 299

We didn't get to see Kate on Wednesday for her birthday, so we made it up today. Apparently, her idea of fun is walking around and around Big Horse (our local purveyor of all things equine) for an hour. We left with a birthday gift, came home to open another gift and lots of cards from generous family members (thanks!), and called it a day. Kate wasn't so keen on having her photo taken with a silly hat, so she had to include Zoey in on it as well. Click HERE to see...

day 298

Ah, yes.... it's that time of the year when candy bowls are brimming (except for this one) -- taunting you, beckoning you to eat!

Thursday, October 23, 2008

day 297

It's basketball season for the Young Women... We have no basketball players in our ward, and haven't even come close to winning a game (unless you count Redhawk's forfeit). But what our girls lack in skill they make up in enthusiasm. I like this action shot of Jessica (who may be more adverse to photo-taking than Kevin) when she intercepted a pass.

day 296

I got this jacket at Ann Taylor Loft yesterday... I can't resist a great deal. Regular price: $129. Sale price: $79.99. Clearance sale of 40% off + 20% off coupon = $38 jacket.

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

day 295

This e-mail was sent to all the staff at work today. Does this really need to be said? Really?

Monday, October 20, 2008

day 294

The ironing was backing up, so the evening was spend in front of the ironing-board.

Sunday, October 19, 2008

day 293

Kevin and Zoey spend lots of hours playing on the stairs...

Saturday, October 18, 2008

day 292

It's been a long time since I posted a Zoey picture...

Friday, October 17, 2008

day 291

After many, many years... Got together with my good friends from high school. A mini-reunion! Go Warriors!

Thursday, October 16, 2008

day 290

Ugh. Came home early with whole body aches and got right into bed.

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

day 289

The sky seemed especially blue today...

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

day 288

Oh sad day... Jenniffer is moving away this week. How dare she! We got together, not to say "good-bye," but "see you later." She won't be able to shake us that easily.

Monday, October 13, 2008

day 287

I took a tip from my good friend, Jenniffer (aka Customer Service Queen). After a especially sub-par experience at the Starbucks in downtown Louisville, I sent an e-mail to the corporate office. In the mail came a nice letter and free drink coupons. Thanks Starbucks, and thanks Jenn!

Sunday, October 12, 2008

day 286

Our satellite dish is out. Again. I haven't yet had the time to take care of it. As such, we've been watching hours upon hours of The Office on DVD.

Saturday, October 11, 2008

day 285

Went to Seth and Denise's to see Wendy and Ken. As soon as the camera came out Maya became Ham-Extraordinaire.

Friday, October 10, 2008

day 284

My co-workers were nice and decorated my cubicle to welcome me back. They don't know me very well. Otherwise, they'd know not to decorate my cubicle.

Thursday, October 9, 2008

day 283

Two weeks in a hotel room with no refrigerator put a damper on my regular dinner fare. O Cereal, how I love thee...

Wednesday, October 8, 2008

day 282

Math homework. Not fun.

Tuesday, October 7, 2008

day 281

Tonight's Mutual included a competition to see which team could eat the most crap the fastest. Natalie got stuck with the huge, chewy gummy-bat.

Monday, October 6, 2008

day 280

Someone feels strongly about the Third Commandment.

Sunday, October 5, 2008

day 279

Got home and passed out the souvenirs. We've pretty much mastered the old-fashioned horse-shoe puzzle game!

Saturday, October 4, 2008

day 278

Two weeks in a hotel = lots of lotions, shampoos, soaps, and conditioners.

Friday, October 3, 2008

day 277

Louisville, Kentucky

Thursday, October 2, 2008

day 276

We were in search of a good breakfast place one morning. The bellman at the hotel suggested this place - Toast on Market. It was phenomenal! If I could, I'd have eaten there every day! Check out their menu HERE.

Wednesday, October 1, 2008

day 275

Two weeks of climbing roofs...
