day 182

Family day at the beach. Kate is starting to really take after her Dad. Unfortunately, it's with regard to taking pictures - and not wanting to.

P.S. Taken with my new phone...

day 181

Jack's First Birthday. Go HERE for the post.

day 180

Went to a memorial service today for a family friend. Though Connor had never met the fellow, he agreed to come along with me. Heinie Davis passed away last week after battling lung cancer for the last 11-12 years... He never smoked a day in his life.

The memorial service was held at the Newport Beach Stake Center, which is adjacent to the Temple. We got there a little early, so we walked around the temple grounds. On the grounds we ran into my brother Mark (and pals Brucie and Glen). They were there for Thomas Waite's wedding. Small world.

This is another camera-phone picture, by the way. I don't know what's wrong with me... forgetting my camera and all. Go HERE for another picture of Connor.

day 179

Connor has been working hard for the last several months, saving all his money to buy a PSP. He finally got it. Now, he's totally broke.

Thursday, June 26, 2008

day 178

Kevin will not allow me to take pictures of him. So I have to sneak them. Here he is... checking on the DiGiorno pizza in the oven. We live large.

Wednesday, June 25, 2008

day 177

Can you believe it? I went out without my camera. This was taken on my phone. Recipe Club for tonight was dinner, movie, and a tasty treat!

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

day 176

Mutual tonight... Jessica and the beginnings of her fabulous denim quilt!

Monday, June 23, 2008

day 175

Zoey had "amorous feelings" toward her pillow/bed today... she wouldn't quit!

Sunday, June 22, 2008

day 174

Sunday nap...

day 173

Friday, June 20, 2008

day 172

I totally forgot to take a picture today. Not one. I thought about fudging and taking two on Saturday, but that wouldn't be right.

Thursday, June 19, 2008

day 171

Trying to organize pictures.

Wednesday, June 18, 2008

day 170

RS Enrichment was at Michelle's house tonight. As the ladies were leaving, little Blake started practicing his gymnastics. Only 8-years-old, he is AMAZING. It's hard to show it in the pictures, but there is no doubt that he is a future Olympian. The boy has a six-pack and guns. The first pictures is him on his "mushroom," practicing his pommel horse routine.

day 169

Low light + reflection + boring day = this shot.

Monday, June 16, 2008

day 168

Ah yes, another uneventful day with nothing else to photograph. I had taken a picture of the window sill from the outside before (HERE), so here's the shot from the inside. How boring am I?

Sunday, June 15, 2008

day 167

Conner and Evan Leavitt came over after church with their puppy (yes - that's right, PUPPY) Sampson. Our Connor loves this Olde English Mastiff and desperately wants one of his own. Sampson's not even a year old yet... there's NO WAY we can fit a dog of that size in our house. I told Connor to ask his mom.

Go HERE for the picture of Sampson in January, when he was curled up on the corner of the Leavitt's couch. It's amazing how fast he's grown!

Saturday, June 14, 2008

day 166

Tux and Kate, getting comfy for the Saturday night movie.

Friday, June 13, 2008

day 165

Caught in the midst of pushing up the glasses. Connor was worried about today... Friday the 13th. He claimed to be superstitious and planned to stay away from black cats, broken mirrors, and ladders. Nothing bad has happened... turns out it's just another day.

He was in charge of making his own dinner tonight. I asked him, "Is this all you're having? Tater tots?" Of course not. He's going to have a banana and ice cream as well.

Thursday, June 12, 2008

day 164

Kate's 5th Grade Promotion. What a fiasco! The room was ridiculously jam-packed... we were 25 minutes early and had to stand along the back wall. I was amazed (not in a good way) how some parents made such a huge deal about this 5th grade "graduation." It's only 5th grade people! I couldn't stay for the whole thing... and Kevin couldn't be bothered to take a picture of her after it was over. So this is it.

Wednesday, June 11, 2008

day 163

Got two books I had been waiting for... both on sale. Woo hoo.

Tuesday, June 10, 2008

day 162

Back at home. Dinner.
(How's THAT, Greg?)

Monday, June 9, 2008

day 161

Had a work conference to attend in San Francisco... My view from the hotel window.

Sunday, June 8, 2008

day 160

Got the binder, so now it's official.

Saturday, June 7, 2008

day 159

The dessert spread at Cassie's Baby Shower at the Four Seasons in Carlsbad. Go HERE for more.

Friday, June 6, 2008

day 158

Julie's birthday was a few weeks ago, but we finally went out to celebrate. We seem to have a pattern for our nights out: movie (What Happens in Vegas), fried food and dessert (@ BJ's) , and disappointing service. Go HERE for more.

Thursday, June 5, 2008

day 157

Kate's first performance on the tenor saxophone. Go HERE for more.

Wednesday, June 4, 2008

day 156

The regular evening occurence when the kids are over... watching "Get Smart" until bedtime.

Tuesday, June 3, 2008

day 155

During the night Zoey had some significant gastrointestinal difficulty, and since we were asleep and unable to let her outside to take care of business, she had no choice but to go inside. The home remedies have not yet eliminated the aroma... time to call in the professionals.

And yes, Greg... yet another reason for you to NOT get a dog.

Monday, June 2, 2008

day 154

Perhaps not Greg's first choice of ice cream treat, but I'm trying to be a {little} more responsible with my dessert intake.

Sunday, June 1, 2008

day 153

Went down to San Diego today to support my good friend Jenniffer in her FIRST MARATHON! It was a beautiful day... for being a spectator, that is. You won't see me out in a race any time soon. Jenn and her mom ran together for most of it and made great time (especially considering their short training period!) GREAT JOB!

We also spotted actress Judy Greer... Jenn came in before her!

See HERE for Dyana's post and a few more pictures.
