day 340

My bro-in-law Bryan recently found out that he passed the Bar exam (yay!) and had to So Cal return for the swearing-in ceremony. He brought Gavin with him. I went down to my parent's house at lunchtime today to see the little guy... we called Cindy when he awoke from his nap.

WHAT A LITTLE CUTIE! I HOPE YOU KNOW HE LATCHED ON TO ALEKS AND FOLLOWED HER ALL AROUND. I THINK MOM AND DAD EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO EAT THEIR THANKSGIVING DESSERTS!! GREG'S AND MY PHOTOS OF HIM ARE TOO CUTE. IF YOU NOTICE GAVIN IS LEANING UP AGAINST NATE WHEN THEY ARE SITTING BY THE FIREPLACE AND NATE IS THRILLED TO BE HIS LEANING POST. WHAT A FUN DAY... XO

What was really funny is that he was reaching for Aleks even when his Mom came in to get him. He is a cutie and so alert, my goodness. He's like a little man. I was glad Bryan and Cindy had a chance to eat while my kids entertained Gavin (actually, while he entertained them).

We found out the news about Bryan at Thanksgiving dinner. I'm think'n, he's got to be some smart cookie to get an undergrad degree in Chem. Eng. (that alone) and then go to law school and pass the bar. Pretty cool and yet speaking to him he's like Clark Kent, no different than the average guy. Pretty cool, I'm grateful to have gotten to know him just a bit.

I hope that if his Volvo problems persist, that he feels comfortable enough to call me because there's a chance based on our discussions that I may have already encountered them. For example, I recently had $2000 worth of service done for under $200 just for having done a little research on the Internet.

It was really great to have Cindy, Bryan, and Gavin for Thanksgiving. They are so very nice and Gavin is such a cutie. I hope that Cindy feels like she can call me if she needs some help when it is time for the baby. Gavin seemed to fit right in with the rest of the kids here. I told her to call me, but I was hoping you could make sure she knew I was serious.
